The Plamondon Companies Hire New Director of Operations
FREDERICK, Maryland -- Barbara Pacifico has joined The Plamondon Companies as the new Roy Rogers director of operations. Ms. Pacifico, who has extensive experience in the restaurant industry, will oversee operations for 14 corporate Roy Rogers Restaurants as well as 56 franchised units.
Ms. Pacifico graduated from Glassboro State College in New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree of science. In 1984, she joined the Marriott Corporation and worked for the Popeye’s division for two years before transferring to the Roy Rogers division. With Roy Rogers, Ms. Pacifico held various positions, such as advanced management & training manager, district manager and human resource development director.
In 1990, she joined Hardee’s Food Systems, Inc., during its acquisition of the Roy Rogers system. Ms. Pacifico continued her management and training responsibilities with Hardee’s and then became the vice president of operations services. Most recently, she served as the executive vice president of franchising, operations services & training. In this role, Ms. Pacifico was responsible for all aspects of franchising for over 1,500 restaurants, including training, processes, procedures, unit growth, development and financial performance.

The Frederick-based Plamondon Companies are the franchisor for Roy Rogers Restaurants and operate 14 corporate Roy Rogers Restaurants in Frederick, Germantown, Hagerstown, Cumberland, Maryland, and Leesburg, Virginia. The group also owns a Residence Inn by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and a Fairfield Inn by Marriott, all located in Frederick.
