The Plamondon Companies Raise More Than $6,000 for the American Red Cross
FREDERICK, Maryland, December 23, 2003.
During the month of November, the 14 Plamondon-owned Roy Rogers Restaurants ran a promotion where they would donate five percent of all fried chicken sales to the American Red Cross Hurricane Isabel Relief fund.
Roy Rogers heavily promoted their fundraising efforts through in-store signage and radio spots. The combined hard work of the associates and guests of Roy Rogers generated a successful donation of $6,400.
“The Frederick County Chapter of the Red Cross and Plamondon Enterprises has long shared a partnership supporting our community,” states Leah Crace, Executive Director of the local chapter. “They always stand ready to provide hot food for our relief efforts, safe lodging for our disaster clients and financial support for relief efforts such as Hurricane Isabel”.
The Frederick-based Plamondon Companies are the franchisor for Roy Rogers Restaurants and operate 14 corporate Roy Rogers Restaurants in Frederick, Germantown, Hagerstown, Cumberland, Maryland, and Leesburg, Virginia. The group also owns a Residence Inn by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and a Fairfield Inn by Marriott, all located in Frederick
