FREDERICK, Maryland, July 15, 2004—Roy Rogers Restaurants announced today the rollout of its Phillips™ Chef’s Choice Crab Cake Sandwich as a limited time only promotion.  This high-quality sandwich consists of a baked Phillips™ Chef’s Choice Crab Cake on a toasted Martin’s potato roll.  Phillips™ Seafood, based in Baltimore, Maryland, owns seven restaurants and several worldwide crab manufacturing plants in addition to offering a full line of retail products.  They are well-known in the Mid-Atlantic area for their superior crab meat and seafood. 

With Roy Rogers Crab Cake Sandwich, guests will have the option of adding tartar sauce and/or cocktail sauce as well as Roy’s famous Fixin’s Bar®, where they can customize it further.  The Crab Cake sandwich sells for $4.69 and the combo meal, which includes a regular side dish and regular drink, is $6.79.  The platter with two regular side dishes and regular drink costs $7.39.  The Crab Cake promotion will be supported through radio advertising and local store marketing activities.
