The Plamondon Companies Support the American Red Cross
FREDERICK, Maryland, November 9, 2004--During the month of November, the 15 Plamondon-owned Roy Rogers Restaurants will donate 5% of all fried chicken sales as well as a portion of revenues from its three Frederick-based Marriott hotels to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Operation and the local chapters’ Disaster Relief Fund. The Disaster Relief Fund ensures that help is immediately available in the community when a disaster strikes that area.
Co-president, Jim Plamondon, stated, “Giving back to the community has always been a large part of our corporate mission. The hurricanes that hit Florida were so tragic and impacted the lives of thousands of people. We wanted to do what we could to help the American Red Cross in the aftermath of the hurricanes as well as replenish its resources for future emergencies.”
The Frederick-based Plamondon Companies is the franchisor for Roy Rogers Restaurants and operates 15 corporate restaurants and 41 franchise locations in the Mid-Atlantic region. Additionally, the Company owns a Residence Inn by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and a Fairfield Inn by Marriott.
