FREDERICK, Maryland, December 9, 2004 — Roy Rogers Restaurants announced today the return of its ever-popular Hot Ham & Cheese sandwich for a limited time only. This delicious sandwich consists of Hormel® Cure 81® smoked ham and melted Monterey Jack cheese on a Hearth-baked Kaiser roll. Guests can customize this sandwich by visiting Roy Rogers famous Fixin’s Bar®, which features a dozen different condiments, like fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions.
The sandwich sells for $3.19, and the combo meal, which includes a choice of side dish and a regular drink, will be $5.49. The Hot Ham & Cheese platter with a choice of two regular side dishes and a regular drink will sell for $5.89. The Hot Ham & Cheese promotion will run for approximately eight weeks in 21 restaurants throughout Maryland and Virginia, and will be supported through radio advertising and local store marketing activities.
