The Plamondon Companies Raise More than $12,000 for Hurrican Victims
Frederick, Maryland-October 19, 2005-The Plamondon Companies' 15 Roy Rogers Restaurants and three Frederick-based Marriott hotel properties, Residence Inn by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield Inn by Marriott, raised funds on Wednesday, October 5, for the American Red Cross' hurricane relief efforts. The company pledged to donate 15% of its restaurant and hotel sales from the day to this special fund. The combined hard work of the associates and guests of the Roy Rogers Restaurants and Marriott hotels generated a successful donation of $12,782.
"Giving back to the community has always been a large part of our corporate mission," said Jim Plamondon, Co-President of The Plamondon Companies.
"The hurricanes that hit the Gulf Coast were so tragic and impacted the lives of thousands of people," commented Pete Plamondon, Jr., Co-President of The Plamondon Companies. "We wanted to do what we could to help the Red Cross in the aftermath of these disasters."
